Year 12 Academic Results 2010

With the publication of Year 12 VCE, VET, VCAL and IB Diploma results for 2010, we have again had much to celebrate. We are delighted with the overall results and are proud of every student.

Highlights for 2010 included:

Median ATAR for class of 2010 (VCE & IB DP) - 85.95 (393 students)
Median ATAR for IB Diploma - 95.10 (107 students)
4 students achieved perfect ATAR Scores - 99.95
10 perfect study scores were achieved (maximum score 50) in VCE subjects
150 perfect scores were achieved (maximum score 7) in IB DP subjects
96.53 % of all students received first round tertiary places
All VCAL students successfully completed the program

Our students’ achievements are a great testament to the quality of our teachers at every level, from early childhood through to Year 12, and to the support of our parents, and we rejoice in the result for everyone.

Helen Drennen

Appointed in 2003, Dr Helen Drennen is the Principal of Wesley College in Melbourne, Australia, a school established in 1866. Today Wesley College is a leading Australian independent coeducational school with more than 3,000 girls and boys from 3 – 18 years of age, on three metropolitan campuses

Prior to becoming Principal of Wesley College Melbourne in 2003, Helen was the Academic Director for the International Baccalaureate, based in Cardiff, Wales, UK from 1997 – 2002 and the Director of the Asia Pacific Region from 2002 – 2003. Before these two international appointments, Helen held the position of Head of Campus, Glen Waverley at Wesley College Melbourne 1994 – 1997. In October 2007, she completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard University Business School, Cambridge, USA, and in 2010 was appointed a Fellow of the Australian Council of Educators and a Fellow of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders in 2011.
