A Musical Journey of Discovery

At Wesley we encourage a thriving musical environment, where all students can explore and develop their musical talents, either for pure enjoyment, or to pursue musical excellence.

We run an extensive music program from Early Childhood to Year 12, with expert practical tuition provided for a wide range of instruments. Students can participate in choirs and music ensembles and learn music theory and composition. We also offer classes that teach practical music skills like music promotion and recording.

Music groups from Wesley regularly participate in local and national music competitions and tour internationally to Asia, the USA and Europe.

 

Some of the key features of our unique music program:

• Students compose, listen, sing and play – their own compositions and those of others, from different times, places and traditions.
• Specialist auditioned and non-auditioned ensembles – choral, strings, wind, chamber music, and our extensive and highly regarded jazz program.
