Across each campus Wesley has state-of-the-art sporting facilities catering for the diversity of sports on offer, ranging from indoor pools, games halls and gyms, to outstanding sporting fields for football, soccer, hockey, softball, tennis, athletics and netball.
Our sporting facilities at a glance
Elsternwick
- Barry Sports Hall – full-sized indoor basketball court, used as the main indoor sport and physical education area
- Three astro turf tennis courts and one plexipave tennis/netball court
Glen Waverley
- Four full-sized sporting ovals (Stewart, Williams, Kennedy and Gregory Ovals) used for all sporting activities
- 25m indoor swimming pool
- Gymnasium, weights room and full-sized indoor basketball court (new double-size indoor court currently under construction)
- Astro-turf for hockey and tennis (12 courts), netball courts
- A Rowing Development Centre with a specialist indoor training facility
St Kilda Road
- Two full-sized sporting ovals (Kroger Front Turf and the Back Turf)
- 25m indoor swimming pool
- Gymnasium, weights room and full-sized indoor basketball court
- Multiple plexipave netball and tennis courts
Wesley also has exclusive facilities on the Yarra River and at Albert Park lake for its extensive rowing program.
