Service details NAA, AWM and CWGC lists as Bengrey-Denton. The Battle of Epehy was on 18/9/18 involving the outposts of the Hindenburg line. Support action occurred in the days after. No specific information on his death, but casualties for his unit were rather light. Two brothers; Sergeant Ernest Bengrey Denton and Private Harry Bengrey Denton also served.
