A grand illusionists dream

A graduate of Wesley’s Glen Waverley campus, Cosentino recently re-visited his old school and spoke with Year 3 students about his journey of discovery through magic and mystery. The world-renowned grand illusionist was also recently announced as the winner of the television show Dancing with the Stars, beating the two other finalists, singer Tina Arena and actress Rhiannon Fish.

Throughout the series, Cosentino was given numerous scores of 10 after each dance, and in the final show, he took home the trophy after performing in the Judges Choice, Sudden Death Cha Cha and Freestyle rounds.

was also crowned and presented as the winner of the coveted Merlin Award for International Magician of the Year, judged and peer-voted by over 47,000 members of the International Magicians Society.  Cosentino himself said that “to be named Best International Magician for 2013 is a dream come true (and) is an incredible honour”.

Since Cosentino has embarked his journey of discovery through mystery and magic, not only has he danced and enticed audiences on television, performed magic in his live shows, made appearances at movie premieres and has even released Cosentino’s Magic Kits to put magic in the hands of his fans worldwide.
