Dr Simon Kinsella will address some successful strategies on surviving the separated/blended family including tips on the importance of flexibility, good communication, and positive step parenting. 

Dr Simon Kinsella is a Melbourne based clinical psychologist with over 20 years’ experience. His PhD examined the relationship between family conflict and life satisfaction for parents and adolescents. He was a senior clinical psychologist at the Albert Road Centre for Health for two years, and at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at Austin Health. 

He was an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne from 2004 until 2016.

As a director of C P Consulting, he leads a team providing the highest quality coaching, counselling, advisory and assessment services to business and to individuals.

He is co-author of a study: Stepfathers in children's lives.
