International Fees

Application Fee

AUD$300 is payable with an application for enrolment. Except as prescribed in the Refund Policy (see page 3 of the Wesley College Enrolment Procedures - International), this fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Confirmation Fee

AUD$1,500 is payable to confirm enrolment. Except as prescribed in the Refund Policy (see page 3 of the Wesley College Enrolment Procedures - International), this fee is neither refundable nor transferable

School Fees

Wesley College operates on two semesters, and each semester is broken into two terms:

  • Semester 1 comprises Terms 1 and 2, from late January through to June with a holiday break in April
  • Semester 2 comprises Terms 3 and 4, from July through to December, with a holiday break in September

The initial fees, as outlined in the letter of offer, are payable on confirmation of enrolment. Thereafter, fees are payable in two instalments per year, billed on 1 April and 1 October. Fees are payable within 30 days of the date of the account.

The Chief Financial Officer is authorised by the Wesley College Council to take whatever steps are deemed necessary to recover overdue accounts.

Learning Technology Fee

A compulsory notebook computer is provided for Years 5-12 students. The fee for Years 5 & 6 is AUD$900 per annum and Years 7 - 12 AUD$1,200 per annum.

Year 9 Clunes Fee

The total cost for the Year 9 Clunes program is $3,800 for the eight-week term that the student is at Clunes. This cost is in addition to the Tuition Fees and will be billed prior to the student attending Clunes.

Health Cover

As required by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, new students to Wesley are required to purchase private health cover for the entire length of their student visa, prior to arriving in Australia. Wesley College will purchase this, at a cost of AUD$480.00 per annum, on behalf of the student and invoice this amount on the letter of offer.

Continuing students will be billed AUD$480.00 each October to cover private health cover for the period from January to December the following year. This cost is subject to change without notice.

Other Charges

Further costs will be incurred for the purchase of a uniform (approximately AUD$600-$1,000), books and stationery (approximately AUD$500) and any sports equipment required.

Notice of Withdrawal

One term's notice in writing to the Head of Campus is required advising the withdrawal of a student from the College, otherwise a charge equivalent to one term's fees will apply

Discounts

Family Discounts

At Wesley, coeducation is central to our vision for learning, as is our commitment to keeping children in one family together

A family discount applies to Tuition Fees only, where three or more children are at Wesley College, and the discount is 20% for the third child and 50% for the fourth and any subsequent children*

* A 10% discount for a second child is also available when a third child has commenced and enrolments are concurrent

If you are eligible for the discount, it is automatically applied to your account

Early Payment Discount

A discount of 2.5% is available if the total annual fees are paid in advance eg 2012 by 31 October 2011

Student Accident Insurance

Wesley College prides itself on the level of care and the provision of a safe learning environment for all students.

Even in the safest environment, accidents and injuries can still occur. The College Council, recognising there may be costs associated with student injuries, has purchased a "Group Student Accident Policy" which is provided free to all families.

Due to the number of methods being offered to pay the account, we request that you do not bring cash into the College to pay the account.

Credit Card

You may only use MasterCard, Visa or AMEX to pay the account. If you choose to pay by credit card, the account is payable in full.

Telephone payments using credit cards may only be made using the BPAY facility. Credit card payments by telephone directly to the College cannot be accepted.

For payments using MasterCard, Visa or AMEX, the surcharge will be 0.825% of amounts paid; and you allow Wesley College to include the surcharge in the amount processed. Details of the surcharge amount and its payment will appear on your next statement.

How to make a payment using BPAY

  • If you are not already a BPAY customer, register with your participating bank to become a BPAY customer
  • Ring your bank on a touch phone and follow the prompts. Enter our BPAY Biller Code 3426 and your Wesley College account number, which appears on the front of your account
  • Nominate the account or credit card you wish the funds to be drawn from and the amount to be paid
  • Take note of the payment reference number. This is your receipt. You have now paid your account
  • For payments using MasterCard or Visa via BPAY, the surcharge will be 0.715% of amounts paid; the surcharge amount will be calculated and included on your billing statement for future payment
