Wesley College Council

Wesley College is an Institution of the Uniting Church of Australia.

In accordance with the Uniting Church Constitution and Regulations, the Church Synod has adopted a Constitution of Wesley College.   Under this Wesley College Constitution, a Council is empowered by the Church to run the College for the charitable object of educating students upon a Christian foundation in accordance with the Basis of Union.

The Constitution obliges the Council to provide annual audited accounts to the Uniting Church. In addition, the Uniting Church has the power to appoint an “official visitor” for the purpose of exercising oversight of the College.

Wesley College properties are vested in a Uniting Church property trust and are administered by the Council.
