We are proud of our history and traditions as a progressive, open-entry school, consistently celebrating religious tolerance, cultural diversity, academic excellence and outstanding educational opportunities for more than 150 years.

Wesley College opened on 11 January 1866, at its St Kilda Road Campus and began with just one student, Freddie Binks. Freddie could never have imagined the Wesley College we know today – one of Australia’s leading coeducational, multi-campus schools with a student population of more than 3,300.
